We were founded in 2019 with the goal of supporting the students, teachers, and families of the Ridgefield Suzuki School

Our Mission

The Friends of Ridgefield Suzuki School (“FRSS”), a registered 501c3 non-profit, is a parent led volunteer organization that supports the students, teachers, parents, and community of the Ridgefield Suzuki School in its mission to provide a nurturing environment where students develop lifelong learning skills, musical excellence, and a profound love of music.

Our Purpose

To assist and support the Ridgefield Suzuki School to provide an experience that will be educational, enjoyable, and rewarding for students, families and community.

To build and foster the spirit of cohesion of the Ridgefield Suzuki School community through social events, educational events, and other experiences.

To provide financial assistance to:

• Ridgefield Suzuki School students with demonstrated financial need, helping defray tuition costs

• Ridgefield Suzuki School faculty, supporting professional development through annual stipends for all teachers and a larger grant awarded to one teacher each year

• One student outside the current Ridgefield Suzuki School community, through an annual full scholarship
